Standard 2: Continuing Education
The applicant must have documented at least 30 hours of intermediate or advanced continuing education or professional development within the immediate past three years of combined post-certificate continuing education in the following domains: Linguistics, Deaf Culture/History, Bilingualism and Multilingualism, Child Development, Language Acquisition, Disability and Diversity, and/or Cultural Awareness and Competency.
Individuals may acquire continuing education to apply for or maintain their certification from any of the following organizations (please note that this is not an exhaustive list):
